Mentalities dates back to 1949 and was originally founded as a land development company by E.D. Marshall. His son, C.C. Marshall, joined Mountcastle during the building boom of the 1960s and runs the firm today with his son, John. As a result of the team's farsighted approach to business, we've managed to survive and thrive during the crunches and economic swings of the difficult land development years.

We've grown up gradually.

Our years of construction experience with regional and national clients have supplied us with the inside expertise that the world of development demands.
